JACK'S FIRST FISH
Presumpscott River. Trolling a Klouser minnow on a Zebco Pushbutton Special. 17 1/2 " smallmouth bass. I thought someone threw a brick in the water behind us at first but Jack was doing all he could to hang on to his rod. It came out of the water a good 3' two or three times. and was netted after about 4 minutes. We may need a new reel. The crank handle is bent.

Way to go Jack! Your fish was much bigger than my first catch, which measured about 3 inches...you laugh, but I'm serious. Give Jack a couple more trips and who knows what he'll be reeling in. Good thing you were there to show your Dad how it's done!
